MUSIC IS FOR EVERYONE!!!
We were all born with the ability to create music. The sound of our mother's heartbeat taught us a steady beat
when we were in her womb.
The music we heard as children taught us the basics of music theory. Let's face it! We are musical creatures!!
Now, why is it that music lessons
are only for those who have the financial means to afford it?
We know that music increases our ability to learn other things, because music is special in that it
is the only activity that uses the WHOLE brain.
Children benefit from music lessons with increased self-esteem, learning and development. The
better the person a child becomes,
the more we all benefit as a society and a community.
So, why don't we do all we can to help kids get this information?
Do you have an old instrument collecting dust right now? In that
closet or basement is an opportunity awaiting a child eager to learn.
I am working to create and build a new non-profit, where any child needs only the desire to
attain music lessons.
